Our Experience
Jonathan is the founder of Green Arrow Gardening Ltd and works as the team leader overseeing all maintenance contracts and projects to ensure a consistently high standard is met.
His experience started from his time working as a ground maintenance operative for Burley & Sons Ltd. They were responsible for the grounds maintenance contract for the Metropolitan Police Service tending to almost 100 sites across London, and this was where he learned his craft. The sites he looked after ranged from the Police training facility at the Peel Centre in Colindale a 70 acres site, to prestigious locations such as the Imperial War Museum and New Scotland Yard. His time at Burleys sparked his love of working outdoors, so after cutbacks in funding and being made redundant, he decided to go it alone and in 2016 started his own business. Now with almost 15 years experience, he is still committed to learning and developing for himself and his business.
Joanne is the co-founder and joined Jonathan full-time in the business in 2018, bringing with her a passion for customer service. She worked in customer-facing roles and as part of management teams in the retail sector for 13 years, and now has 5 years of garden and grounds maintenance experience under her belt. She demonstrates great enthusiasm with a visual eye for design and details. Her main responsibility is the management of the business but enjoys being out with the team and isn’t afraid to get stuck in with grounds work.
Our team of operatives are hard-working and reliable, coming to work with a smile whether it’s rain or shine. They are loved by our clients and residents, and are exceptional representatives of Green Arrow Gardening.
